The community growth team is responsible for building the heart and soul of our company – our community of driver partners. Deliv is looking for a metrics driven, innovative Director of Driver Acquisition to continue to scale our delivery partner community. You will measure and optimize Deliv’s recruiting and onboarding efforts. In addition, you’ll build process around ongoing driver document compliance and escalation management. This role reports to the VP of Community and is located in our headquarters Menlo Park, CA.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Scale delivery partner network ensuring driver partner network supply meets forecasted demand on a daily/weekly basis.
  • Work closely with the digital marketing team to guide the evaluation and exploration of emerging acquisition levers and channels and determine which make the most sense for Deliv.
  • Drive product/process improvements for new driver onboarding, within applicant process and post authorization.
  • Work closely with the Deliv business partners in expansion planning, the evaluation of the economic and strategic costs and benefits of driver incentive programs/rates per market and execute these strategies.
  • Discover product/process gaps and initiate cross-functional collaboration with product, sales, and community to reduce package loss.
  • Build and maintain reports, dashboards, and metrics to monitor key performance indicators for markets in order to identify trends and develop best practices within driver operations
  • Develop and/or improve network-wide quality training, (re)certification and coaching programs to meet retailer requirements, instill best practices, and set up the Community for success.
  • Create coaching and mentorship programs to replicate successes that we identify from superstars and to promote consistent quality.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

  • BA/BS in business, economics, marketing, or operations
  • 7+ years of team management ideally in scaling large teams
  • You have significant experience developing, managing and optimizing campaigns across multiple channels including but not limited to job boards, display media, paid search, content marketing, referral marketing, event marketing, etc.
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally and ability to execute with minimal directions.
  • Successful experience and desire to work in a lean startup environment with a strong sense of urgency and the ability to embrace a changing landscape; not afraid to make a mistakes and take calculated risks.
  • Willingness to get in and do the work. No task is too small.
  • Have prior experience working cross-functionally in a high execution oriented environment.
  • Data driven decision making mentality and sound business judgment through strong analytical thinking.
  • Willingness to try new things and ability to apply those lessons learned.
  • Ability to travel on occasion <20%
  • You must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
